Our Marble Polishing Process (what you can expect)
- Survey & test patch — confirm stone type and finish target.
- Protection & prep — mask skirtings/kickboards; set dust control; deep pre-clean.
- Diamond honing — remove wear, scratches and etch marks (typically 120–800 grit, as needed).
- Refine & polish — resin/cerium stages to reach your chosen gloss (satin to mirror).
- Detail & edges — hand-finish edges, thresholds, islands and steps.
- Seal & buff — apply a premium impregnator (natural look) or, on request, an enhancer for richer tone.
- Final inspection & care plan — we leave you with a simple maintenance routine so the shine lasts.

FAQs
How long does marble polishing take?
Most kitchens/hallways (20–40 m²) take 1–2 days including sealing.
Can you remove etch marks and rings?
Yes. Etching is micro-surface damage; we hone it out, then polish and seal.
Will polishing make the floor slippery?
Polished marble can be smooth; we can target satin or high-gloss and discuss slip-resistant care.
Do you create dust?
Our process is wet where appropriate and controlled where dry; we mask and extract to keep dust to a minimum.
What finish should I choose?
Satin hides wear best; high-gloss gives that luxury mirror look. We can show both on a test patch.
How do I keep the finish?
We’ll leave a simple maintenance plan and suggest the right pH-neutral cleaner to avoid re-etching.
